PVTIME – Mubang High-Tech Co., Ltd. (Mubon High-Tech, 603398.SH), a company mainly focused on educational toy, medical device, education and precision non-metallic mold business, recently announced that it is postponing the construction of its solar cell manufacturing facility in Tongling City, Anhui Province, China.
The first phase of the project will be delayed due to unconfirmed funding. And the whole project is subject to risks of postponement, modification, suspension or termination, with greater uncertainty of success, due to changes in implementation conditions resulting from relevant national or local policies, environmental assessment, project approval, financing environment, etc.
The first phase was initiated on 11 January 2024 with an estimated investment of 3.5 billion yuan. And it is planned to achieve production capacity of 5GW of high-efficiency n-type solar cells and 5GW of solar wafers in the first phase.
