5 Billion Yuan! Liaoning Beijian Electric Power to Launch 4GW HJT and 3GW Module in Inner Mongolia of China

PVTIME – On 17 April 2024, Liaoning Beijian Electric Power signed a cooperation agreement with the Hohhot Economic Development Zone Committee, Inner Mongolia, China, for the construction of an intelligent solar module plant.

The project aims to produce 4GW of high-efficiency HJT solar cells and 3GW of modules per year, with an investment of 5 billion yuan. The smart factory is expected to be completed within 18 months with an investment of 4 billion yuan. Once completed in December 2025, it will generate an output value of 5 billion yuan per year and a tax payment of more than 200 million yuan per year. It is also estimated to provide around 1,000 jobs for local people.
