PVTIME – Recently, the second batch of Hanersun’s HITOUCH 6N PRO quarter-cut modules departed from Shanghai Yangshan Deep-Water Port for Austria. They will be installed at ground-mounted solar plants in the towns of Wildon and Krottendorf in Styria, with the two projects totaling 36 MW. Following the company’s collaboration with Italy’s 1st Beam, this marks another large-scale delivery of HITOUCH 6N PRO in Europe and signals that Hanersun’s next-generation N-type quarter-cut products have entered a phase of scaled application in overseas markets.
The HITOUCH 6N PRO 655W modules shipped in this batch use large-size wafers and high-efficiency quarter-cut cell technology. Compared with conventional modules, the quarter-cut structure optimizes current transmission paths, reducing internal heat loss by approximately 75%. With a maximum conversion efficiency of 24.2%, the modules lower the LCOE while significantly improving transport reliability, microcrack resistance, and shading tolerance.
“The Austrian market sets extremely high benchmarks for module efficiency and reliability,” said Jingyu Sun, Vice President of Hanersun. “The successful delivery of the HITOUCH 6N PRO 655W in Austria not only demonstrates Hanersun’s technological edge but also confirms that the quality of Hanersun products is widely recognized by customers.”

Hanersun’s 10MW Ground-mounted Solar Plants in St.Valentin, Austria
Austria is at the forefront of renewable energy development in Europe. According to data from E-Control, Austria’s energy regulator, the country added about 1.6 GW of solar capacity in 2025, bringing cumulative installed capacity to 9.9 GW. Although market growth has slowed compared with previous years, large-scale PV projects remain active, and the market is shifting from scale expansion toward solar-plus-storage integration, becoming increasingly mature. In this changing landscape, the batch delivery of Hanersun’s HITOUCH 6N PRO quarter-cut modules further expands its application footprint in Europe’s ground-mounted PV market.
Going forward, Hanersun will continue to advance its global strategy, serving the global energy transition with efficient and reliable PV products.
