PVTIME – As reported on 13 September 2026, Kongsberg Maritime has secured a full-scope systems supply contract for Cadeler’s pair of next-generation T-class offshore wind turbine installation vessels.
The company will deliver complete propulsion, power generation and vessel control systems for both vessels. The two newbuilds are under construction at COSCO Shipping (Qidong) Offshore in China. Purpose-engineered for installing extra-large offshore wind turbines, the vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2030 and 2031 as part of Cadeler’s long-term fleet expansion strategy.
