PVTIME – Two green hydrogen projects in Catalonia have been selected for funding under Spain’s National Hydrogen Valleys and Industrial Clusters Programme, securing a combined total of €236 million.
This confirms that the two Catalan projects are part of a wider group of initiatives approved under the programme, which is expected to provide approximately 4GW of new electrolysis capacity overall.
This selection highlights the ongoing public support for the deployment of renewable hydrogen in Spain, with Catalonia being one of the regions to benefit from the latest round of national funding.
