Risen Discloses New Solar Module Project and Annual Report for 2021

PVTIME – On April 23, Risen Energy Co., Ltd.(300118.SZ), released announcements on new solar module project and its annual report for the year of 2021.

According to the announcement, Risen intends to invest approximately 734.42 million yuan on a 3GW solar module project in Guyang County, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia, to promote its production capacity and meet the market demands. The solar module project will be implemented by Risen (Baotou) New Energy Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Risen, and is expected to provide high-efficiency solar modules with production capacity of 3GW once upon completion.

On the same day, the annual report for the year of 2021 was disclosed. During the reporting period, Risen achieved revenue of 18.831 billion yuan, increasing by 17.23% year over year. The net profit loss attributable to the parent company was 42.32 million yuan, which turned its profit to loss compared with the same period of previous year. Its deducing non-net profit loss was 647 million yuan, which that was 135 million yuan in the same period of previous year. And the basic earnings per share was -0.05 yuan.

Risen would like to promote following measures to improve its performance while reducing the negative impacts of industrial chain fluctuations. 1. To increase its production capacity and sales scale of solar modules, and the proportion of self-produced solar cells. 2. To invest in research and development for various new products to meet different customers’ needs. 3. To improve the management of cash flow, and the asset structure, especially the power stations. 4. To optimize the production capacity, to cooperate with possible partners, and to control the purchase costs.
