DKEM Turns Loss Into Profit in Net Income 2023

PVTIME – recently, Wuxi DK Electronic Materials Co., Ltd. (DKEM, 300842.SZ), a Chinese company mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of new electronic paste and other electronic materials, announced its financial results for the year of 2023.

Benefiting from the strong demand of the global PV market and the rapid industrialisation of n-type solar cells, DKEM’s operating revenue and net profit both achieved rapid growth during the reporting period. In FY2023, DKEM’s operating revenue was approximately RMB9,603 million, representing an increase of 154.94% over the previous year. Its net profit attributable to the shareholders of the listed company was approximately RMB386 million, while its basic earnings per share was RMB3.85. Furthermore, in the same period of 2022, its operating revenue was approximately RMB3,767 million, and its net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was a loss of approximately RMB17.24 million.

In 2023, DKEM’s sales volume of photovoltaic conductive silver paste was 1713.62 tonnes, an increase of 137.89% over the previous year. And that for n-type TOPCon cells was 1008.48 tonnes, accounting for 58.85% of its total sales of photovoltaic conductive silver paste products. DKEM expects to increase its investment in technology and market development to maintain its leading position in the industry.
