PVTIME – On August 27, a groundbreaking ceremony was hold by Three Gorges Group for 10GW of photovoltaic cell production in Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province of China.
The project will be initiated by DAS Solar, and mainly engaged in the production of solar cells the core component of the photovoltaic power generation industry, with a total investment of 6 billion yuan.
The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of August and officially put into production in October 2022. Once upon completion, it is expected to achieve an annual sales revenue of about 12 billion yuan, with an average annual tax of 700 million yuan, and providing about 2,000 jobs.
