6.2 Billion Yuan! Q-SUN To Invest in 10GW Cell and 10GW Module Project in Hubei Province, China

PVTIME – On 11 June 2023, Q-SUN Anhui Co., Ltd. signed an agreement to build a solar cell and high-efficiency module production base in Xiantao City, Hubei Province, China.

The project involves a total investment of 6.2 billion yuan to build a 10GW solar cell and 10GW high-efficiency module production base, including fixed asset investment of approximately 4.8 billion yuan and equipment investment of approximately 4 billion yuan. The project will be completed in three phases. In the first phase, two new automatic module production lines will be set up in Q-SUN’s workshop to reach a production capacity of 2GW, with an investment of 400 million yuan. Then, in the second and third phases, a further 5.8 billion yuan will be invested in land acquisition for new facilities and equipment to achieve the target of a total production capacity of 10GW of solar cells and 10GW of modules for the whole base.

Q-SUN is an international company engaged in the research and development, production and sales of high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, and is a leader in the intelligent production and manufacturing of photovoltaic modules in the industry. The company has three global R&D and manufacturing bases in Tianchang, Dongtai and Rudong (under construction), and two marketing centres in Nanjing and Jakarta. 70% of the products are exported to Europe and the annual output value is 3 billion yuan.
