PVTIME – On 21 January 2024, the world’s first factory dedicated to the mass production of 210R HJT solar cells was put into operation in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, China.
This project is initiated by Huasun, a company with a leading team in HJT solar cell R&D and manufacturing, with a total investment of 5.4 billion yuan. It is estimated to produce 3.6GW of HJT cells per year, with an annual output value of more than 2 billion yuan.
The new facility is equipped with intelligent management system, high-speed automatic production lines with large scale, low cost and high efficiency, which will provide reliable HJT products for overseas customers with conversion efficiency over 26%.
