PVTIME – In June 2026, Turkey’s Ministry of Trade introduced two separate anti-dumping regulatory actions targeting imports in the photovoltaic supply chain.

In response to applications submitted by domestic Turkish manufacturers, an anti-dumping probe was opened on 19 June into solar glass originating from China, Malaysia and Vietnam, as detailed in Official Notice 2026/10. The dumping investigation covers the period from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025, while the injury assessment covers the period from 1 January 2022 to 30 September 2025. The relevant Turkish customs tariff codes for the product are 70.06 and 70.07, and the notice took effect immediately upon publication. All interested stakeholders must submit completed questionnaires and case observations within 37 days of publication.
On 24 June, Official Notice 2026/23 was released, delivering an affirmative final anti-dumping ruling on Chinese photovoltaic aluminium frames. Definitive duties will be imposed on a CIF basis at the rates listed in the attached annex for goods classified under tariff code 8541.90.00.00.11. This trade measure will apply for five years from the date of issue.
The investigation into these aluminium frames first commenced on 25 May 2025. The dumping investigation period ran from 1 October 2023 to 30 September 2024, alongside an injury investigation from 1 January 2022 to 30 September 2024. On 13 December 2025, a preliminary affirmative decision was issued, enforcing provisional anti-dumping duties set between 14.79% and 31.40%, calculated on each shipment’s CIF value.
