Li Zhenguo: Within 10 Years, PV LCOE Will Be Lower Than 1 Cent/kWh USD

CHANGCHUN, China, Nov. 13, 2019 /PVTIME/ — On November 9^th, Longi Solar founder and President Li Zhenguo brought about the three “Do Not Worries” at the International Energy Agency’s IEA PVPS Task 1 Group Meeting.

1. Do not worry about PV costs. Within 10 years, PV LCOE will be lower than 1 cent/kWh USD.
2. Do not worry about the energy storage challenges. The energy storage market will soon mature.
3. Do not worry about supply capacity. Global production capacity will reach 400GW in five years.
