PVTIME – In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, Haitai Solar held the launch ceremony for its 1GW high-efficiency photovoltaic module production and R&D base in the Pinglu Economic and Technological Development Zone of Shuozhou City on June 29.
Ma Zhanwen, Pinglu District Party Secretary, said the strong technological strengths and equipment processing capabilities of Haitai Solar will strengthen the industrial scope of Pinglu District and inject new vitality to the zone.
Wang Yong, Chairman of Haitai Solar, stated that Haitai New Energy will uphold the concepts of ecological design, intelligent manufacturing, and green development to build a high-efficiency photovoltaic module production and R&D base with an annual output of 1GW. Haitai New Energy will seize the opportunity of the national dual-carbon goal, accelerate the progress of the project construction, and contribute to the economic and social development of Pinglu District.
The 1GW high-efficiency photovoltaic module production and R&D base will be compatible with cell sizes up to 210mm. Upon completion, Haitai Solar’s production capacity will reach 8GW.
