Goodwe to supply 10 MW of central inverters for rooftop PV installations

Goodwe signed a contract with Sopray (Shanghai) New Energy to supply its central inverters for 10 MW rooftop PV installations in Kunshan under China’s Golden Sun Program. About 25 Goodwe inverters of MT series and 1 MW solar inverter station will be used for this project. Sopray New Energy provides engineering and construction services for the whole project and installations of inverters on three industrial units will be completed by Goodwe. Full-grid connectivity is expected to be taking place by the end of September.

Goodwe Central Inverters are among the most compact inverters in the market, making the installation easier and more cost-effective. ‘This project confirms the strength of Goodwe’s local presence in distributed generation and is an example of how Goodwe can offer comprehensive solar inverter solutions to its customers,’ said Daniel Huang, Managing Director of Goodwe.
