PVTIME – According to industry announcements published on 27 October 2026, Senvion India has secured a firm turbine supply contract totalling 54.6MW for a commercial and industrial wind development in Gujarat, awarded by the domestic renewable energy developer Prozeal Green.

The onshore wind scheme is part of Prozeal Green’s growing clean energy portfolio for commercial and industrial consumers in India. Under the terms of the agreement, Senvion will deliver and commission the necessary hardware for the wind turbines, which will be built to supply green power to commercial and industrial energy consumers. No further technical specifications for turbine models or exact commissioning timelines were released in the public notice.
This contract adds to Senvion India’s growing order book in Gujarat, which remains one of India’s most active onshore wind markets. Commercial and industrial wind continues to gain traction nationwide as industrial operators seek to hedge grid power costs and meet corporate decarbonisation targets. This transaction highlights the ongoing demand for captive wind capacity, in addition to the more well-known utility-scale wind tenders across the country.
Prozeal Green has a large development presence across several Indian states, with projects in wind, solar and hybrid renewable energy. For Senvion, this contract strengthens its position in India’s competitive onshore wind turbine supply sector.
