PVTIME – This July, Hanersun’s 14MW HITOUCH 6N 710W module supply for Jingxian Longxin Steel Co., Ltd. completed on-site installation, with grid-connection preparations now underway. Once operational, the project will provide the steel plant with reliable clean power and offer a practical model for the low-carbon transition of energy-intensive industries.

As a leading enterprise in Anhui’s steel sector, Jingxian Longxing Steel has long specialized in electricarc furnace steelmaking and hotrolled rebar production. In active response to China’s carbon peak and neutrality goals, the company has consistently pushed forward with energy conservation, carbon reduction, and green upgrading measures. The 14MW solar project represents an important step in Longxin Steel’s efforts to optimize its energy mix, increase the share of renewable power, and reduce operating costs. Scheduled for grid connection in August, the project will enable a deeper integration of conventional manufacturing with renewable energy.

The project features Hanersun’s HITOUCH 6N 710W high-efficiency modules. Based on advanced N-type technology, the modules deliver up to 22.9% efficiency, low degradation, a favorable temperature coefficient and strong environmental adaptability. These advantages support stable power generation under demanding steel plant conditions while improving space utilization and lifetime energy yield. The modules have also passed stringent reliability tests, including resistance to PID, salt mist and blowing sand, providing long-term assurance for system safety and performance.
The project demonstrates Hanersun’s growing experience in industrial solar applications and provides a replicable reference for steelmakers and other energy-intensive manufacturers. Hanersun will continue to advance N-type technology and expand high-efficiency solar and integrated energy solutions across industrial sectors.
