PVTIME – On 17 January 2024, Shuangliang Eco-Energy Co., Ltd. (Shuangliang, 600481.SH), a manufacturer of solar material processing equipment and a subsidiary of Shuangliang Group, announced that it has received an equipment order from United Solar Polysilicon (FZC) SPC valued at US$58,320,592 (approximately RMB419.57 million).
The equipment is required for a planned 100,000 tonne high-purity polysilicon plant in the Sohar Free Zone owned by United Solar Polysilicon (FZC) SPC, an Omani company. The scope of supply includes polycrystalline silicon reduction furnaces, tail gas treatment equipment, intelligent hydrogen production equipment and lithium bromide refrigeration units.
