5 Billion Yuan! Cando Solar to Launch 4.8GW HJT and 4.8GW Module Project in Jiangsu Province of China

PVTIME – Cando Solar has recently signed a project for manufacturing solar cells and modules in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, China.

The project involves an investment of 5 billion yuan to achieve an annual production capacity of 4.8GW for HJT cells and 4.8GW for modules.

Cando Solar, an advanced photovoltaic company, was founded by world-leading engineers and solar veterans from Trina Solar, ST Micro, and TSMC. In 2022, Cando Solar developed the world’s first 210mm busbar-free HJT solar module, which has been certified by TÜV Rheinland. Cando Solar has applied for, and successfully mastered, more than 20 invention patents, including two US invention patent applications and three PCT international patent applications. In addition, four Chinese invention patents have been authorized.
