PVTIME – On October 25, Shanghai HIUV New Materials Co., Ltd. (688680.SH), a high-tech film technology enterprise focus on R&D and manufacturing of new film materials, and committed to provide high level film products, technical support and overall solutions for customers in various fields, announced that it has signed an investment agreement with the People’s Government of Xincang County, Zhejiang Province of China, on a 30GW packing film project for PV products.
The project will be carried out in two phases, with a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan. The first phase aims to reach production capacity of 200 million square meters of PV packing film every year, and then 100 million square meters of that in the second phase.
What is more, this particular project is expected to fulfill the production goals as well as increasing the profit, HIUV stated.
