PVTIME – On April 24, Trina Solar shared that a 7.007 MW distributed photovoltaic power generation project on the rooftops of SK hi-tech battery materials (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., a China-based subsidiary of SK IE Technology, was successfully connected to the grid recently.
The EPC service of this solar power project was provided by Changzhou Trina Intelligence Energy Engineering Ltd., a subsidiary of Trina Solar, who was awarded by SK hi-tech for completing the project quickly and efficiently with high quality. The average power generation of this rooftop project will be about 6.6226 million kWh, and an estimated total power generation of 165.565 million kWh for 25 years, reducing 128,917 MT of carbon dioxide emissions and saving 54,898 MT of standard coal.
“We are very happy to work with Trina Solar, who upholds high standards and requirements for the project,” said a director of SK New Energy, “In the face of the cultural differences between China and South Korea, the epidemic and other unfavorable factors, the project has been successfully completed and put into operation, which will play a positive role in reducing the consumption of traditional energy in SK Group’s factory in China. The two sides would like to see further cooperation in new energy and relative fields.”
