PVTIME – On January 8, Trina Solar representatives Chairman Gao Jifan, Executive Vice President Cao Bo, and other heads of key business departments visited the headquarters of Jiangxi Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jiangxi Electric Power Construction) in Nanchang. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and concluded the meeting by entering into a strategic cooperation agreement, marking the beginning of a comprehensive long-term strategic cooperation in the field of clean energy, mainly photovoltaics.

Jiangxi Electric Power Construction, a member of the China Power Construction Group, has the vision of becoming a first-class comprehensive energy service company in terms of quality and efficiency under the China Power Construction Group. Its business integrates thermal power, power grids, environmental water treatment, renewable energy, intelligent energy, mechanical and electrical equipment installation, municipal culture and tourism, engineering construction, investing, operation and maintenance, technical consultation, and other services.
The two parties first cooperated back in 2017. Since then, their cumulative volume in module equipment and power station development has entered the GW scale. In the face of this year’s pandemic and severe supply shortages across the entire industry chain, Trina Solar still managed to provide strong support for Jiangxi Electric Power Construction’s projects in Shaanxi, Hebei, and other places. Trina Solar completed timely delivery of the modules and tracking brackets and assisted in the grid connection of all customer projects before the December 30, 2020 deadline.
In the future, the two parties will continue to utilize their market competitiveness and technological resource advantages in the new energy industry，and on the basis of the existing cooperative relationship, cooperate in an all-round and in-depth way to jointly promote the large-scale development and application of clean energy on a global scale.
