Trina Rolls Out 210 Solar Module in Its Inner Mongolia Base

PVTIME – On August 2, Trina Solar Co., Ltd. (Trina Solar), one of the world’s leading solar solutions providers, rolled out its first 210 large-size solar module in new energy technology industry base of Jungar Banner, Inner Mongolia of China.

The particular large-size solar module produced in Inner Mongolia base adopts advanced technologies, such as non-destructive cutting and high-density packaging, will be used for Trina’s Vertex 600W+ ultra-high power modules with high power generation efficiency and product reliability.

Trina Solar’s successful in Inner Mongolia is viewed as a microcosm of the development of the whole new energy industry chain in that region. Many leading enterprises, such as Trina Solar, CRRC, Envision, LONGi, GCL and so forth, have been introduced to the city to form a large industry cluster for new energy since the beginning of 2022, with planned annual production capacity of 425,000 MT of silicon materials, 64GW of crystal pulling slices, 28.5GW of photovoltaic modules, 480 million square meters of photovoltaic glass, 1,030 sets of electrolyzers, 30,000 sets of hydrogen fuel cells, 330,000 MT of anode materials, 12.5GW of energy storage, with a total investment of more than 80 billion yuan, under preferred policies and with the supports of local government, to promote the whole renewable energy industrial chain of wind, solar, hydrogen, storage and vehicles.
