PVTIME – TBEA New Energy, as a company mainly engaged in the electrics and electronics manufacturing industry, has a strong team working on improving the utilization rate of the new energy by technology innovation, which has been not only developing a series of high-quality centralized/string inverters, but also providing the market with optimal solutions constantly to bring about more benefits for the customers.
TC3125KFT is a boost inverter launched by TBEA New Energy in 2019. Integrating highly such functions as “inversion”, “boosting”, “distribution” and “communication”, it saves some repeated intermediate links, and thereafter reduces the construction difficulty and cost, provides the customers with excellent service and optimal solution. This boost-inverter is able to recommend an optimal LCOE (levelized cost of energy) solution depending on the type of assembly selected and the project site condition.
The photovoltaic power station is generally designed based on the minimum LCOE. According to the specification in the Code for design of photovoltaic power station (2019, Draft for Comments) that PV power to inverter power ratio (PVIR) of Class I, Class II and Class III resource areas should not be greater than 1.2, 1.4 and 1.8 respectively, the following optimal LCOE solutions are proposed after analysis for the assemblies and project sites listed below:
Assemblies: polycrystal 330/335Wp, single-crystal 390/395Wp, single-crystal 400Wp/405Wp, single-crystal double-sided 400Wp/405Wp and single-crystal ≥ 440Wp;
Project sites: Guizhou, Guangdong, Guangxi, Shaanxi, Xinjiang, Hubei and Hunan;
- Class I resource area: according to statistics, the temperature in the early morning can be considered as -20℃, and in this case, the number of 330Wp assemblies, 400Wp assemblies and 440Wp assemblies that are connected in series for each string are 28, 26 and 26 respectively. The calculation sheet is shown as follows:
- Class II resource area: according to statistics, the temperature in the early morning can be considered as -15℃, and in this case, the number of 330/335Wp assemblies, 390/395/400/405Wp assemblies and 440Wp assemblies that are connected in series for each string are 29, 27 and 27 respectively. The calculation sheet is shown as follows:
The analysis above demonstrates that, for the type of assemblies selected, TC3125KFT can meet the design and operation requirements of minimum LCOE. However, to develop a more detailed operation program, a specific analysis is required for each specific project.
In 2020, the end year of the 13th Five-Year Plan, TBEA New Energy will, by taking the technology innovation as our focus and the customer demand as our orientation, improve the quality of our products and devote ourselves in the research and development for special applications of clean energy power generation, smart power distribution and new energy power plant, aiming to bring more high-quality solutions for customers.
