PVTIME – On 7 February 2024, Shenzhen Sunrise New Energy Co., Ltd. (002256.SZ), announced its intention to raise a total of not more than 240 million yuan, which, after deducting issue expenses, will be used for distributed solar power project and solar module production project.
According to the announcement, 50 million of the funds raised will be allocated to a serious distributed solar power and energy storage project in He County, Anhui Province, China. These projects include a 3796.68KW distributed solar power project and a 4344.2KW distributed solar power project, as well as an energy storage and PV project, with a total investment of 53,375,100 yuan.
And 118 million yuan of the funds raised will go to a 1GW BIPV solar module production project, with a total investment of 138 million yuan. The remaining 72 million yuan will be used for loan repayment and working capital.
Shenzhen Sunrise New Energy’s new energy business is mainly engaged in the investment and operation of new energy photovoltaic power plants, including asset investment, trading, EPC construction, intelligent operation and maintenance, module manufacturing, etc. The fine chemicals business mainly includes the production and sale of environmental protection functional coatings and accessories, environmental protection household products, environmental protection and energy saving car care products and related aerosol products.
