Hefei, China, February 23, 2015 – Sungrow Power Supply Ltd announces orders of up to 5.89GW in 2014, 4.23GW of which have already shipped. The domestic Chinese market was responsible for 3.8GW of orders, with 430MW exported to the global market. This shows stable growth in both Chinese and international markets, and confirms Sungrow’s status as the largest PV inverter manufacturer in China, and the largest exporter.

“In 2014, over half of Sungrow’s total exported goods were string inverters. In both the traditional European markets and in new emerging markets with high technical threshold like Japan, the demand for our string inverters have been high. We have seen huge interest in particular for the 60kw inverters , which we believe is down to their excellent efficiency and reliability.” Stated Mr. Cao Renxian, the founder and CEO of Sungrow. ” IHS recently ranked us as the most popular Chinese PV Inverter manufacturer and we aim to continue this in 2015 ”.

In 2014 the amount of PV inverters exported from China grew to 3GW, an increase of 10% on 2013. The top ten export manufacturers accounted for approximately 70% of the total volume. Traditional destinations such as Germany, Italy, Spain and Australia were still the main export destinations, but there has been rapid growth in markets including the United States, Thailand, Turkey and Chile.
