Solar Power Mexico 2021: Sungrow Energizes the Mexican Market with Cutting-edge Technical Innovations

PVTIME – Sungrow, the global leading inverter solutions supplier for renewables, showcased a comprehensive product portfolio covering utility and C&I PV and energy storage solutions at the leading solar energy trade show — Solar Power Mexico on November 9th through the 11th. The Company scaled up its dedication to the local market as it realizes further industry innovations; thus, once again, demonstrating the strength of the Company’s brand and vanguard R&D platform.

The Mexican market is supported by low solar prices and is ripe with opportunity as solar grows. Mexico has a large population with energy demand that increases each year.

Committed towards the utility-scale applications, Sungrow’s new market-leading SG350HX system was introduced onsite. The new arrival boasts a maximum output power of 352kW, redefining high-powered string inverters. It guarantees an incomparable return of investment for stakeholders while ensuring excellent compatibility. In addition, the 6.25MW and 3.125MW medium-voltage transformer integrated turnkey inverter solutions for utility-scale projects were also on display.

The momentum for the C&I market continues forward. Sungrow offers its updated string inverters SG36CX-US and SG60CX-US, which are 36 kW and 60 kW solutions tailored to rooftop installations. Equipped with multiple MPPTs, the solutions enable high yields and are not impacted by shade. As a result of their compact designs and smart management, the solutions are known for easy installation and monitoring. These solutions are a prime means of enabling communities and facilities to obtain clean energy while allowing for significant cost savings.

Energy storage technologies play a vital role in Mexico’s transition to more forms of renewable energy. Sungrow has a holistic approach to the Mexico market with a series of energy storage system (ESS) solutions. The highly integrated ESS can be widely used in multiple applications, including peak shaving, demand response and micro-grid applications. It features a higher energy density, enabling a smaller footprint and less investment.
