Lhyfe narrows H1 loss amid restructuring drive

PVTIME – According to industry coverage dated 31 October 2026, French-based green-hydrogen producer Lhyfe has unveiled its half-year financial results for 2026, reporting a narrowed operating loss as the business presses ahead with internal restructuring work.

Although underlying losses have decreased compared to the previous reporting period, the group is continuing to implement organisational changes aimed at improving operational efficiency and strengthening cash flow resilience. Management is also advancing negotiations for a significant commercial contract which has yet to be finalised. Once concluded, this major deal is expected to deliver meaningful new revenue streams, although no details regarding counterparties, contract value or scope have been made public.

The firm is maintaining commercial momentum across European markets, alongside its previously announced strategic industrial gas partnership. Despite signs of financial improvement in the first half of the year, pressures in the renewable hydrogen market continue to impact overall performance. Market observers note that the successful conclusion of the outstanding large-scale commercial agreement would represent a significant milestone for Lhyfe’s near-term outlook.

No firm timeline has been shared for finalising the contract.
