JinkoSolar Powers the Largest Rooftop Project under Ontario’s FIT Program

JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (“JinkoSolar” or the “Company”) (NYSE: JKS), a leading global solar PV power product manufacturer, today announced that it has supplied 2.3 MW of solar modules for a rooftop system constructed by Sentinel Solar. The project is the largest roof-top project in Canada and was commissioned under Ontario’s Feed-in Tariff plan.

The system was installed on a roof-top covering approximately 400,000m2. It comprises of 9,294 JinkoSolar high-efficiency modules and customized racking solution designed and manufactured by Sentinel Solar. The system is expected to produce 2,540,000 kWh annually, enough to power approximately 150 homes. The solar array is expected to offset approximately 11,200 tons of COannually and assist Ontario in achieving its goal to phase out coal power by 2014.
