PVTIME – The Volvo Group, Daimler Truck, the Toyota Motor Corporation, Bosch, Air Liquide, TotalEnergies, TEAL Mobility and MB Energy have announced a joint initiative to accelerate the adoption of hydrogen-powered vehicles across Europe.

The coalition will focus on three interlinked areas: expanding hydrogen refuelling infrastructure, deploying hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks and ensuring a reliable supply of hydrogen fuel. According to the partners, the initiative is intended to help build a functioning hydrogen ecosystem for commercial transport, rather than pursuing isolated vehicle or infrastructure projects.
Further details of the collaboration are expected to be announced at the IAA Transportation event on 15 September 2026.
