China National Nuclear Power Completes Acquisition of CNNCNE for 2.11 Billion Yuan

PVTIME – On December 11, 2020, China National Nuclear Power’s (hereinafter referred to as the “CNNP” or “Company”) board of directors reviewed and approved the company’s proposal to acquire 100% equity interest in China National Nuclear Corporation subsidiary CNNC Rich Energy Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as “CNNCNE”) for 2.11 billion yuan.

On January 6, 2021, the equity transfer procedures of CNNCNE was officially completed, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary of China National Nuclear Power.

After the acquisition of CNNCNE, China National Nuclear Power’s installed capacity stands at 5.2869GW, including 1.7864GW of wind and 3.505GW of solar power. In terms of installed capacity under construction, China National Nuclear Power has 0.34 GW of wind and 1.3624GW of solar currently being developed.
