PVTIME – The energy storage giant CATL has updated the pricing of its energy storage cells on its official online store, raising the minimum quoted prices for two of its core product lines.
According to the latest published figures, the minimum price for the 280Ah (1 P) energy storage cell has increased by 1.1%, and the price of the 314Ah cell has risen by 2.0%. The ultra-large-capacity 587 Ah cell has also been listed for the first time, with a starting price of 0.415 yuan/Wh and a minimum order quantity of 324 units. This provides a new price benchmark for the small- and medium-sized energy storage market.
In response to queries regarding the adjustment, a company representative stated that the price change is a routine measure and that CATL has historically made similar adjustments based on prevailing market conditions.
This comes as the broader energy storage cell market ends a two-year trend of falling prices, with the average price of mainstream 314Ah lithium iron phosphate cells having risen by over 20% since late 2025.
