PVTIME – On November 21, Beijing Energy International Holding Co., Ltd.(00686.HK)(BJ ENERGY INTL), a global eco-development solutions provider based in Beijing, announced that Beijing energy development company, its subsidiary, has signed a cooperation agreement with Mouding Zhonglei Shengya Agricultural Technology Development Co., Ltd. and Chuxiong Jinjiang Energy Development Co., Ltd. on the construction and management of solar power plant jointly in Mouding County, Yunnan Province of China.
According to the announcement, the installed capacity of this agricultural solar power plant is planned to be 1GW, with a total investment of 250 million yuan.
This project will be a milestone for the companies as well as local citizens. It is expected to promote the energy transform in the county for fulfilling low carbon goal, and to start the photovoltaic energy business for the BJ ENERGY INTL, which will positively influence its performance.
