APVIA (2012) PV ASIA PACIFIC EXPO will be held on October 23rd, 2012

Hosted by the Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA), together with Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS) and Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS), supported by Energy Market Authority (EMA), Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and Singapore Tourism Board (STB), APVIA (2012) PVAP Expo 2012 will be held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore on October 22 – 24, 2012.

PV Asia Pacific Conference 2012 will again be part of the highlight for this year show. Professor Joachim LUTHER of Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS) and Professor Martin GREEN of the University of New South Wales, Australia are the Honorary Chairman. Professor Armin Aberle, CEO, Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS), is the Executive Chairman of this event.

PV Asia Pacific Conference 2011 was a success. The Conference attracted over 200 delegates. This year, PV Asia Pacific Conference 2012 is inviting the most renowned scientists in the PV industry, Scientists such as Professor Stefan Winter of the Germany Federal Institute of physics and Technology (PTB), Professor Stephen WITTKOPF of Switzerland Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Professor Christophe BALLIF of Switzerland Institute for Micro-engineering, Professor Andrew Blakers of Australian National University, Australia Solar Energy Research Institute, Dr Rob STEEMAN, Vice President of Renewable Energy Company. Concurrently, there will be a “Photovoltaic Industry Scientist and Leader (CTO) dialogue”.

PV Asia Pacific Conference will focus on ways in cost reduction in PV industry. The methods include: through solar cells, PV modules, PV system innovation, improve PV modules, PV system reliability during the entire life cycle, as well as building integrated photovoltaic technologies and systems in large cities in Asia. A special highlight of the session was the off-grid systems or components on the Asia Pacific region; this is an important topic especially there are large number of people without electricity. The Forum will also showcase major science and technology innovations in each of these areas.

In addition, “Ministers of Energy and PV industry leaders (CEO)” dialogue, “2012 Solar Scientists dialogue”, “Photovoltaic industry Scientist and Leaders (CTO) dialogue”, and APVIA (2012) PV ASIA PACIFIC EXPO will be held in Marina Bay Sands on October 22 – 24, 2012.

For “The Ministers of Energy and PV industry leaders (CEO) dialogue”, we intend to invite Ministers from: Australia, Cambodia, China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka to attend the meeting and to share more insight on the policy for sustainable energy.

The inaugural “Global PV Financial Summit” will build around the core theme of the global PV, the topics include: enhancing enterprise’s financing capacity, promote solar power plant construction and financing in Asia, enhance the quality of photovoltaic equipment and systems, upgrading of the existing standards system, what important role can financial institutions be involve in terms of providing a stable and guaranteed network system for the Asia Pacific region. Concurrently, there will be a dialogue session among the financial institutions and the PV Industry leaders – “Financial Institution and PV industry leaders (CFO) dialogue”.

APVIA PV ASIA PACIFIC EXPO 2012 brings together world’s major Photovoltaic Industry players such as: REC, WIRSOL, SUNTECH, YINGLI, PHOENIX, GCL, YEH BROTHERS, JA SOLAR, TEL, SCHMID, HERAEUS, MANZ, and OCI. The main objective is to seek business collaboration in jointly promoting the rapid development of PV market in Asia-Pacific.

We look forward to seeing you!
