PVTIME – On 31 October 2026, Norwegian renewable energy operator Scatec released its third-quarter 2026 financial results, reporting a consolidated quarterly loss of approximately EUR 110 million alongside revised medium-term capital spending ambitions.

The group has doubled its target for average annual equity investment over the 2027–2030 period, increasing the figure to EUR 194 million. Management intends to deliver this expanded investment programme without raising additional shareholder capital, instead relying on operating cash flows and proceeds from planned asset disposals.
While the quarterly result reflects substantial one-off impairment charges, underlying operational performance remained stable. The updated capital plan prioritises solar PV, battery storage, and onshore wind assets in select emerging market territories. As part of its four-year strategic framework, Scatec will simultaneously pursue balance-sheet improvements through targeted debt reduction.
No further granular adjustments to quarterly operational guidance were issued alongside the announcement of the investment target.
