PVTIME – The Croatia-based energy group ENNA has secured the development rights for a 166MW hybrid solar-storage project in Romania, as announced on 25 October 2026.

The hybrid scheme combines photovoltaic generation with battery energy storage infrastructure. It will expand ENNA’s existing renewable energy portfolio in Romania, where the group already operates clean energy developments.
The acquisition of this project reinforces the company’s strategic focus on south-east European renewable markets. No formal construction timeline or commissioning schedule for the 166 MW site has been disclosed in the public release.
