The 2027 edition brings together, under the strategic umbrella of “Future City”, the industries transforming modern communities: renewable energy, energy efficiency, water, waste management, sanitation, urban mobility, digitalization, and urban security. The event creates the ideal context for exhibitors to connect directly with projects and decision-makers, while visitors discover the companies and technologies shaping the future of cities.
Exhibitors can choose the exhibition sector most relevant to their activity:
• Green Energy – Renewable Energy | Storage | Energy Efficiency
• Romenvirotec – Water | Waste | Sanitation | Public Utilities | Forest
• Smart City Tech – Smart City | Mobility | Digitalization | Urban Security
The event brings together companies, public authorities, developers, solution integrators, specialists, and opinion leaders to accelerate the sustainable transformation of cities and communities across Romania and Eastern Europe. More than an exhibition, Green Energy Expo & Romenvirotec is a platform for public-private dialogue, networking, education, and business, showcasing integrated solutions for energy, water, waste management, smart city development, mobility, and green infrastructure.
The results of the 2026 edition once again confirmed the growing interest in an event that connects public administration, the private sector, and technology providers dedicated to the sustainable development of cities.
Over 15,000 visitors from 21 countries attended the three days of exhibitions, conferences, and live demonstrations, making it one of the largest editions organized to date. The event brought together 250 exhibiting companies showcasing innovative technologies and solutions in renewable energy, energy efficiency, water and waste management, smart city development, and the circular economy.

One of the highlights of the 2026 edition was the Partnership Stage, a dedicated platform for dialogue between institutions, local authorities, and industry representatives, facilitating exchanges of experience and concrete collaborations among stakeholders involved in urban development. At the same time, the Energy Stage, Waste Stage, Water Stage, and Main Stage hosted conferences and presentations focused on innovative solutions for the cities of the future, from renewable energy and energy efficiency to water management, waste management, and urban digitalization.
Another key moment of the edition was the Conference of Mayors from Romania and the Republic of Moldova, where representatives of local administrations discussed best practices, investment opportunities, and development directions for modern communities.
Green Energy Expo & Romenvirotec continues to develop the platform dedicated to the Future City concept and invites companies, institutions, and strategic partners to actively contribute to the next edition of the event, taking place on March 23–25, 2027.
