8GW! Hoshine to Launch Solar Module Project With Investment of 1.5 Billion Yuan

PVTIME – Hoshine Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. (603260.SH), a leading company mainly engaged in the production of silicon-based materials, recently announced its intention to invest in and construct a solar cell and module production project in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, China, with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan.

This particular project is planned to occupy an area of 215.8 mu and a building area of 300,000 square metres, with a production capacity of 8GW of solar modules per year, which is expected to further optimise and upgrade the product structure for Hoshine.

Hoshine believes that PV cell modules are key products in the entire industry chain, as well as a crucial link in the production of upstream and downstream products. Meanwhile, the production of solar cells and modules can be flexibly changed according to market demand. Therefore, the company aims to increase its market share in solar cells and modules to promote the development of the new energy industry.
