PVTIME – Suzhou Shijing Environmental Technology Co. (SJEF) (SZ.301030), a company principally engaged in the research, development, production and sale of process pollution prevention and control equipment and terminal pollution control equipment, announced on 15 July 2023 that Shijing Photoenergy, a subsidiary of SJEF, has entered into two agreements with Shenzhen S.C New Energy Technology Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Shenzhen S. C or the Company) (300724.SZ), a fast-developing new energy equipment manufacturer with R&D capabilities in equipment and process and subsidiary respectively, for the supply of high efficiency solar cell production equipment with a contract value of 769,500,700 yuan (including tax).
According to the announcement, the equipment will be used for the solar cell production project initiated by SJEF in Ningguo City in February 2023. The solar cell project aims to supply 24GW of n-type monocrystalline TOPCon solar cells per year, with a maximum total investment of 11.2 billion yuan. The first phase of the project was launched in April 2023 to achieve production of 18GW of n-type TOPCon solar cells in November 2023, with an estimated investment of 7.5 billion yuan, and is expected to generate annual sales revenue of about 20 billion yuan and tax revenue of more than 600 million yuan. After the completion of the first phase, another 6GW of TOPcon solar cells will be launched in the second phase.
