PVTIME – On 19 March 2024, Leascend Technology Co., Ltd. (Leascend, 300051.SZ), a China-based company principally engaged in providing software products and information technology (IT) services, announced that Leascend’s subsidiary and the subsidiaries of Guosheng Shian Technology Co., Ltd. (Guosheng Shian, 603778.SH), a China-based company principally engaged in the forestry and photovoltaic businesses, for the supply of silicon wafers and HJT solar cells.
Under the terms of the agreements signed by the two parties, Leascend’s subsidiary will purchase 145 million pieces of mono-crystalline silicon wafers from a subsidiary of Guosheng Shian, while it will supply 100MW of A-level G12 HJT solar cells to another subsidiary of Guosheng Shian by 31 December 2024.
The total value of the agreements is estimated to be more than 200 million yuan, accounting for 100% of the audited revenue of Leascend’s core business in 2022.
