6 Billion Yuan! 6GW HJT Cell and 6GW Module Production Capacity to Be Added in China

PVTIME – A new solar PV product manufacturing base has recently been launched in Anhui Province, China.

The project is being launched by Jiangsu Jiedeng Holding Group with a total investment of 6 billion yuan. It is planned to be completed in two phases to produce 6GW of n-type HJT solar cells and 6GW of solar modules per year. It is estimated to reach an annual output value of 7.5 billion yuan and a tax payment of 45 million yuan per year.

According to public data, Jiangsu Jiedeng Holding Group is a shareholder of Jiangsu Boamax Technologies Group Co (Boamax, 002514.SZ), a company mainly engaged in heavy truck power exchange, energy storage, comprehensive energy, power grid flexibility peak shaving projects, R&D, manufacturing and sales of intelligent equipment. In recently years, Boamax has been focusing on the R&D of new-generation photovoltaic cells and modules, especially the high-efficiency HJT cells and modules.
