This particular PV assembly factory will be located in Pataskala, Ohio, with an investment of more than $600 million through Illuminate USA, and will be the largest solar panel manufacturing facility in the US, producing both mono and bifacial solar panels.

It will begin construction in April 2023 and is expected to be operational by the end of 2023, creating at least 850 high-paying jobs. JobsOhio and One Columbus will support the recruit with training programmes for the project.

The new factory is designed to increase domestic production capacity of high-quality, reliable solar modules and panels to support solar power projects in the US. It will also secure the supply chain to meet the growing demand for the construction of commercial and residential solar systems.
