PVTIME – Xinfa Group, a diversified private enterprise with interests in energy, aluminium and carbon products, recently signed a joint investment agreement with the government of Jingbian County, Shaanxi Province, China, for a high-purity silicon production project and a cogeneration project.
The silicon production project aims to produce 125,000 tonnes of high-purity crystalline silicon and 150,000 tonnes of industrial silicon products per year, with an investment of 14.2 billion yuan. Meanwhile, a cogeneration project with 2×660MW unit project, with an investment of 6.4 billion yuan.
