PVTIME – On January 26, wafer manufacturer Zhonghuan Semiconductor issued its latest product prices for the month of January where prices across the board have increased.
Compared with the quotation on December 30, the price of silicon wafers with different specifications is increased by 0.4-0.92 yuan/piece, taking 160μm wafers as example.
Affected by the price increase, the share price of Zhonghuan rose sharply in late trading. It rose nearly 5% during the session and finally closed up 4.15% with a market value of 140.2 billion yuan at the close on January 26.
