X-Elio Signs an Agreement With Eni to Boost Its Spanish Renewables Presence

  • The agreement consolidates X-ELIO’s leadership in Spanish PV Market where it has already built more than 1.000 MW
  •  X-ELIO is currently building more than 250 MW in Spain. The Company has secured 650 MW Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and has a pipeline of advanced development projects of more than 1.500 MW

PVTIME – X-ELIO has reached a partnership agreement with ENI in Spain to jointly develop a total capacity of 140 MW.

The agreement will be the first renewable investment in Spain by ENI.

X-ELIO will continue working to achieve its objectives in Spain, where it has developed and built more than 1 GW. The firm currently has more than 250 MW under construction in the country, 650 MW through PPAs and more than 1.5 GW of pipeline of advanced development.

According to the agreement, the transfer of the projects will be subject to customary authorization starting from the second semester of 2021.
