PVTIME – On September 11, Jiangsu Seraphim Solar System Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Seraphim”) successfully held the signing and groundbreaking ceremony for its 10GW photovoltaic module production base was in the Jinzhai Economic Development Zone, Lu’an City, Anhui Province.
This 10GW photovoltaic module project is an important part of Seraphim’s distributed manufacturing structure. For a total investment of about 5.5 billion yuan, the project will generate an annual output value of about 12 billion yuan. The project will be constructed in three phases. The 1.2GW first phase was officially put into production in June. Construction for the 4GW second phase started in September and is expected to start trial operation in the second quarter of next year and the third phase of the project will begin construction in September 2022.
At the celebration ceremony, Secretary of the Jinzhai County Party Committee Wang Dong delivered a speech. He pointed out that China’s “duo carbon” goal has played a pivotal role in speeding the country’s process towards carbon neutrality. He hopes to strengthen cooperation with Seraphim and further promote the development of the new energy industry in Jinzhai County.
In his speech, Seraphim President Li Gang expressed his sincere gratitude to the relevant departments of the Jinzhai County Party Committee and County Government at all levels for their competency, and thanked Seraphim’s partners for their long-term strong support. “Seraphim will speed up the project construction, strive to achieve production and efficiency as soon as possible, and play a leading role in making more and greater contributions to the local development of Jinzhai County,” Li Gang added,
