Jinko Power Signs Deal to Develop a 1GW Renewable Energy Agricultural Base and Photovoltaic Integration Demonstration Project in Heilongjiang

PVTIME – On July 19, Jinko Power Technology Co., Ltd. and the Fujin Municipal People’s Government of Heilongjiang Province reached an in-depth partnership to promote the investment of the “1GW Renewable Energy Base Agricultural and Photovoltaic Integration Demonstration Project in Fujin” and also signed a cooperation agreement covering 10 towns and 7 villages in Fujin City as a response to the State Grid Corporation of China’s “Notice on Actively Developing Distributed Photovoltaics on Rooftops of Entire Counties (District) Pilot Project”.

According to the agreement, 10 towns and 7 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Fujin City including Erlong Mountain, Xiangyangchuan, Jinshan, Toulin, Xinglonggang, Hongsheng, Shangjieji, Yanshan, Chang’an, and Dayushu will undergo countywide distributed photovoltaic planning.

Jinko Power stated that the company will make full use of the roofs of industrial and commercial enterprises, rural houses, government agencies, institutions, public facilities, etc., combined with BIPV, energy storage, and other technical means to carry out comprehensive distributed photovoltaic development in the region so as to promote the overall economic and social development of Fujin City.

As of the end of December 2020, Jinko Power operates 261 distributed power stations with a cumulative grid-connected capacity of 820 MW.
