PVTIME – On 13 July 2023, Huawei Digital Power Technologies Co., Ltd. (Huawei Digital Power), a leading global provider of digital power products and solutions, and Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp), a leading energy and urban solutions provider, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Singapore.
The two sides agreed to jointly focus on research and development of PV, energy storage and microgrid technologies, and in particular to work closely together to increase the rate of PV energy storage while reducing CAPEX and OPEX and ensuring grid resilience and stability. In addition, the two organisations will jointly explore potential collaborations and related business activities in the field of clean energy solutions.
This MoU signifies the shared vision and commitment of Huawei and Sembcorp to drive Singapore’s energy transition and contribute to a more sustainable and low-carbon future for the region.
