CNTY and SPIC Zhejiang to Jointly Launch Renewable Energy Projects

PVTIME – China Tianying Inc. (CNTY)(000035.SZ) issued an announcement on August 13 that it has signed a Cooperation Framework Agreement with Zhejiang New Energy company of China’s State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) for jointly development of the power generation and energy storage projects in China.

The two sides intends to establish a long-term partnership and give full play with their advantages to work together on gravity energy storage, photovoltaic power generation, wind power generation, integrated smart energy and other renewable energy projects, jointly promoting their energy and power service projects.

Under the Agreement, the two sides plan to achieve no less than 1GWh of gravity storage and 5GW green power projects in the Yangtze River Delta region within three years while Rudong gravity energy storage project and tidal flat photovoltaic project are priority ones.
