BYD and Juwi-Gruppe’s 47 MW solar Project Connected to Grid

In the past few days, the global new energy leader BYD announced the 47 MW solar projects which cooperated with the famous German EPC company, Juwi-Gruppe, officially combined to the grid to begin its commercial operation. The 47 MW solar projects include 7 different solar farms. The largest one, 24.4MW solar farm is located in Herzogtum Lauenburg in Germany, covers an area of 168,649 square meters and will generate 228,753,82 kwh electricity per year and avoid 13,709 tons of CO2 emission per year. The other 6 projects are located in other regions of Germany.

This cooperation between BYD and Juwi-Gruppe this time will take BYD’s cost effective and high efficiency solar modules to Germany to provide local residents with green and clean energy
