PVTIME – Beijing Energy International Holding Co., Ltd. (00686.HK)(BJ ENERGY INTL) announced recently that Wollar Solar, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, has signed an EPC contract with Sunterra Energy.
According to the announcement, the contract value of this EPC is approximately 132 million Australian Dollar. Under the EPC contract, Sunterra Energy will be responsible for the construction of a 173.1 MW solar power plant with rich experience in photovoltaic power generation projects in Australia.
The company is optimistic about the future of the PV industry in Australia as well as the expected return on investment, stated BJ ENERGY INTL, and this EPC contract is expected to further expand its overseas business. The EPC contract is considered to be fair and reasonable and is in the overall interests of the company and its shareholders.
